The looks that the celebrities rock on the red carpet is just as important as the awards they win at the Oscars if not more. In this year’s Oscars, Jennifer Lawrence went with a mature and absolutely stunning look and rocked her new pixie cut in an off the beaten path way. She rocked a red Dior dress with minimal jewelry although the necklace that extended to her back looked amazing and the glittering rocks on her ears gave the mature look a little playful youthfulness. The necklace look is one she has worn before on the red carpet before and is one that she has perfected to a T.
Jennifer Lawrence 2014 Oscars makeup ideas are pretty easy to replicate as she paired her pixie cut in a tousled sort of windswept, high-volume style with subtle lips in nude and a thick cat eye look for a fresh, pretty yet minimal look. Ve Neill, the makeup artist used a skin refining matte primer from Dior, Skin Pore Minimizer to prepare her skin for makeup followed by a high definition foundation also from Dior. The Capture Totale Foundation that Ve Neill used was in light beige 020, which is specifically for light complexions for people with neutral undertones. If you want to use Jennifer Lawrence 2014 Oscars makeup ideas you may want another color if you have cool or warm undertones. The foundation results in a luminous quality on the skin which may be part of why Lawrence looked glowing for the night.
To provide some color, Ve used a Matte Amber 002 Nude tan matte sun powder from Dior. The powder comes in a stylishly elegant package. Jennifer Lawrence’s barely there blush which looked oh so glorious was thanks to the Dior DiorBlush Vibrant color powder blush which is Dior’s new blush line. The 553 cocktail peach that Ve used for Lawrence looked delectable and although the palettes in the new line look bright they have a really subtle result for that classy elegant look. Dior’s Diorshow Art Pen was responsible for the graphic lines and when used all around instead of the normal way in a cat eye design where it only goes on the upper lash, created a really interesting look. The liner was in black 095 and the mascara was Diorshow Iconic Overcurl. It provides excellent grip for that popping look for your eyes as you can build up the amount that goes on the roots of the lashes. The whole black-rimmed un-smoky look was very elegant which seemed to be her theme for the night.
Lawrence’s lips screamed subtle shimmer, yes paradoxical as it is her lips managed to be eye-catching without losing the less is better’ vibe. Lawrence was wearing Dior’s Addict Fluid Stick which is new and launched this month. In Mirage, the lipstick provided the naturally tinged look that also lightens up her look which although glorious in its maturity looked better with the touch of girly. Despite tumbling on the Red carpet, she managed to rock her look and make an excellent debut of her pixie cut.
